Tundish spraying plant is a specially designed equipment system for spraying refractory materials onto the inner wall of the tundish. Its main functions include: Repairing refractory lining: During the continuous casting process, the refractory lining of the tundish will gradually wear out due to the erosion of high-temperature molten steel. Through the spraying device, new refractory materials can be evenly sprayed onto the worn parts, thereby repairing the lining and extending the service life of the tundish. Pre-spraying protection: Before the new tundish is put into use, a dense refractory protective layer is formed on its inner wall through the spraying device, which can effectively prevent the direct erosion of the refractory lining by high-temperature molten steel and improve the high-temperature resistance and service life of the tundish.
Tundish refractory lining spraying machine is mainly composed of machine frame, axial flow fan, spray nozzle and other parts. The machine frame is used to support and fix other parts to ensure the stability and durability of the whole equipment. The axial flow fan is installed on the machine frame to generate a strong airflow to blow the cooling medium (such as water mist) evenly to the surface of the refractory lining of the tundish. The spray nozzle is used to spray the cooling medium in the form of atomization to the surface of the refractory lining to achieve a fast and uniform cooling effect.
