Maintenance matters when the hydroseeder is not in use

When we do not use the hydroseeder, how to maintain it? Next, I will introduce to you.

1. Regularly check the working condition of the engine
The grass seed sprayer should start the engine at least once a month, run it at idle speed for 4-5min, and check the operation of the engine. If there is any abnormal phenomenon, it needs to be adjusted and repaired in time. Also, check the battery frequently. The electrolyte level of the battery must be 10-15mm higher than the electrode plate. If it is insufficient, distilled water should be added in time.

2. Prevent the water pump and pipeline from freezing and cracking
After the grass seed is finished working, be sure to drain the water in the pipeline and the spraying pump, mainly in winter when the temperature reaches below zero, the water in the pipeline and the spraying pump will freeze, resulting in expansion and squeezing the pipeline and the spraying pump. It will also cause damage to other sprinkler accessories, reminding that the temperature reaches below zero. After the work is completed, please drain the water in the sprayer in time (open all the valves of the sprayer and the water discharge valve of the spray pump).

3. Prevent rust
Rust is mainly caused by the combined action of moisture, oxygen and corrosive substances in the air. Therefore, for grass seeds that have been parked for a long time, the metal surface should be kept clean. The place where it is placed should be kept ventilated frequently to keep the relative humidity of the air below 70. Dust, dirt and moisture should be removed from the machine in time. The parts that are easy to rust and the surface of the parts should be coated with oil, grease or wrapped with oil paper. The pores on the various mechanisms of the grass seed sprayer should be sealed to prevent air, moisture and dust from entering the interior.
