The application of foam concrete in sound insulation board of railway

Because of the pore structure inside of the foam concrete, the sound-absorbing effect is rather perfect. So foam concrete can reduce noise pollution and improve the living conditions.

In 2009, foam concrete sound insulation board is used for China high-speed railway. When the train is fast moving, it will cause high air pressure and high-frequency metal noise, and the sonic boom would be produced accordingly. In order to avoid the damage to buildings and residents along the railway, sound insulation should be established on both sides of the railway. This board is made of inorganic foam concrete, and composed of low density open cell foam layer and high density closed cell foam layer, meanwhile, it has other advantages of fir resistance, heat insulation, sound absorption, sound insulation, high compressive strength and so on.
